President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov congratulated Mahinda Rajapaksa, President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, on the occasion of national holiday of that country – Independence Day.

In his letter, Islam Karimov wished a robust health and every success to Mahinda Rajapaksa, along with wellbeing and consistent development to the friendly people of Sri Lanka.
